Instagram is testing special accounts for creators and influencers

Instagram is already the natural home of many influencers, creators of high profile content and celebrities, so the audiovisual social network does not want to miss the opportunity to build loyalty by offering them a much more useful experience.

 

With this goal in mind they are testing, as The Hollywood Reporter has advanced and have confirmed Instagram's responsible in the news, special accounts with specific tools to better control their communities.

The new profiles, which are currently being tested by a small group of users, include quality filters for direct messages, access to data on the number of people who follow or not their account and the option to manage who can contact them and who can contact them. what way can they do it?

The creation of this type of account for high-level users, joins the announcement made by Instagram in November: a new profile design is falling.

Ashley Yuki, Instagram Product Manager, explained that the new test accounts revealed during the last few hours represent an improvement in the experience that the most influential and well-known have in the social network. "Malicious Memes", how a new type of malware is taking advantage of hidden code in Twitter images

Trend Micro security researchers have identified a new threat that they have called "malicious memes." Basically, it's a new type of malware that receives its code instructions hidden in memes posted on Twitter. Cybercriminals exploiting this use an old technique (stenography) to hide malicious code in images and evade security, the novelty here is that they are using the technique in images that are shared in the social network.
